Message Here in seattle we have Seattle international raceway which is way down south of seattle and I don't even know why they call it that. There is also another track that is in Bremerton, an hour's ferry ride away at least. I live north about half an hour and north of that is a city called monroe. There lies a track...but only an oval track for mini stocks and super stock nascar style racing. I want to think of a proposal to help find local sponsors. I was wondering if any of you guys know what I would need to get started. I already know that I need a lawyer and a place that I wanted to build on that is out of the way of residences. I already have spoke to real estate agents and they have told me that there is plenty of property available in this area (very rural aka cow tipping country). I need to know how much acreage i need to look for, what kind of permits I need, what type of county officials to talk to, and whatever else comes to mind.

I know that it would be a lot of work to get started, but think about it, it would get local dragsters off the crowded streets of the city to a place that is in a controlled environment so police wouldn't have to harrass and worry about lawless racing in the streets as much. In the area that I am considering there is no competition for local people to come race. Considering that it is close to a community that already have been subject to another type of racing (oval racing), I don't believe that it is too crazy to dream about something that very well could be.

Let me know what you guys think. Any and advice/criticism is greatly appreciated.

sincerely, vichhean patrick chhin
